Number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Uzbekistan - 298

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 298, the republican operational headquarters for infection control reported on April 5. Over the past 24 hours, doctors have found the virus in 32 people. During the whole period of observation, two patients with COVID-19 died and 25 people recovered. The headquarters specified that out of 266 patients, 102 arrived from abroad, while the rest were infected in Uzbekistan. According to the news agency, from April 6 the regime of self-isolation in Uzbekistan will become mandatory. The police will restrict the movement of citizens on bicycles and scooters.
