Lombardy decided to close educational institutions due to coronavirus
In the Italian region of Lombardy, the authorities decided to close all educational institutions in connection with the outbreak of coronavirus infection of Covid-2019. This is reported on February 23 by ANSA with reference to the decree signed by Governor Attilio Fontana and Head of the Ministry of Health of Italy Roberto Spiranza. According to the document, educational activities in kindergartens, schools, higher education institutions and professional development institutions are suspended in the northern region of Italy. Recall, the total number of cases in Italy reached 113. Outbreaks of infection have been reported in 11 municipalities. The most patients are in hospitals in the Veneto and Lombardy regions.
