Romania closed in quarantine from Moldovan brothers

The Romanian authorities abolished the requirements of a mandatory 14-day quarantine for citizens of 17 European countries arriving in the country, including neighboring Bulgaria and Hungary. As noted in the Moldovan embassy in Romania, Moldova was not on this list, the news agency reports. Citizens of countries that are not on the list, including Moldova, the Romanian authorities will still be placed in isolation for two weeks. At the same time, the embassy noted that Romania will update the list of countries for which restrictions are lifted on a weekly basis. Note that by mid-June, Moldova was covered by the second wave of coronavirus disease, the daily number of infections is almost twice as high as the previous period and twice as large as recorded in Romania, where the population is seven times larger. The total number of cases in Moldova with about 2.5 million of the population exceeded 12,250 people, and more than 420 people died from the consequences of coronavirus.
