Voters in Serbia fought during voting at a polling station
Two men fought over a queue to a voting booth at a polling station in Serbian Belgrade. This was announced on June 21 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia. Information about the fight between voters came to the Novi Beograd police from members of the election commission. When arriving at the scene, police found two men born in 1941 and 1985 just before entering the polling station. There was a conflict between the men, who went into a fight over the line for a vote. The prosecutor on duty did not find signs of a criminal offense in the incident. Both participants in the fight will be brought to administrative responsibility. Recall, on June 21, parliamentary elections and elections to regional and municipal authorities are held in Serbia. In connection with restrictive measures in force in the country in connection with the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection, voters and members of precinct commissions should wear masks, use antiseptics and observe distance. Voters have to wait for their turn to vote on the street in front of the station. Earlier, the news agency reported on the participation in the voting in the parliamentary elections in Serbia of the country's president Alexander Vucic.
