40 new cases of coronavirus infection revealed in Montenegro per day
The Public Health Institute of Montenegro reported on July 2 that 40 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected during the day after analyzing 444 tests. Most cases were identified in Podgorica. In the municipalities of Rojae and Belo Pole, the authorities introduced strict restrictive measures. In total, 289 cases have been active in the country since the beginning of the second wave, three died (a total of 12). Nevertheless, Montenegro opened borders for all EU countries without tests and quarantine. The border with Serbia remains closed, entry from other countries of the region with a test. The authorities urge people to strictly observe the distance, wear masks in closed rooms, but we are not talking about quarantine for economic reasons.
