Liechtenstein authorities demanded that the Czech Republic return the rejected territories
The Liechtenstein Government filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) demanding denunciation of the agreement on the inclusion of a number of lands of the principality in Czechoslovakia following the Second World War. This was reported on August 22 by the Financial Times. The official Vaduz demands to return about 2 thousand square meters. km territories rejected by decrees of the former President of Czechoslovakia Edward Benes. Currently, the territories, in particular, the city of Valtice and the castle of Ledince, are part of the Czech Republic. Official Prague has already stated that this issue is not within the competence of the ECHR.
