Samsung Electronics to close TV factory in China

South Korean company Samsung Electronics will close one of the Chinese TV plants. It is reported by KBS with reference to industry sources. According to sources, in November 2020, the company intends to close a plant in the Chinese city of Tianjin, which employs about 300 people. It is known that at the end of 2018, Samsung closed a smartphone factory in Tianjin, and in 2019 in Hoizhou, Guangdong province. In July 2020, the South Korean company also suspended the production line in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. Currently, China still operates a household appliances plant (Suzhou), as well as two semiconductor plants (Suzhou and Xi'an).
