Crimean lobby in Ukraine lost its feed base - political scientist
The commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Alexei Neizhpapa, apparently wants to draw the attention of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the plight and underfunding of the Ukrainian fleet. This, according to the correspondent of the news agency, was announced on July 8 by political scientist, chairman of the Crimean regional public organization Center for Political Education Ivan Mezyukho, speaking at a press conference between Russia and Ukraine: from diplomatic conflicts to military confrontation and commenting on a number of statements by Neizhpapa dedicated to Crimea. In Crimea, they are already accustomed to anti-Crimean statements by the Ukrainian general, Mezyuho said. Therefore, such statements and comments no longer produce an informational resonance. It is right to say that there is a Crimean lobby in Ukrainian politics. And it is in the naval forces of Ukraine. This lobby, after the reunification of Crimea with Russia, lost its feed base. The Ukrainian fleet suffered from underfunding even before the events of March 2014. The so-called Crimean lobby settled in Ukrainian politics. In many ways, statements by the representative of the Navy are associated with underfunding of the Ukrainian fleet. Thus, the officer draws the attention of the President of Ukraine to the problem that is. As the expert explained, the Navy officers have nowhere to live in Odessa, they have problems associated with allowance and current funding. It must be understood that relations between Kiev and Moscow will only deteriorate. This is an obvious fact, Mezuho also noted. Recall, as reported by the news agency, the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Rear Admiral Alexei Neizhpapa, announced his intention to make Sevastopol the main Ukrainian naval base.
